Portland Gamers is here to help you find other people in the Portland area interested in gaming. For just a single game of Risk, maybe an on-going RPG campaign, or even a clash on the battlefield with war gamming. Hopefully you find what you're looking for here. Game On...

This group started as a taste testing group, but we have too many interests and too much A.D.D. to focus on just one thing. So "Random Events and Whatnot" was born! (We were going to call it "The Portland Hodgepodge Medley of Random Events and Whatnot" but then we sobered up.) Here are some of the activities we have hosted: · Hiking · Storytelling · Taste Testing · Pot Luck Dinners · Glow in the Dark Night Frisbee · Book Club · Game Night · Movie Night/F …
I have started this group for adults and young adults on the Autistic spectrum who are interested in video games and tabletop games (D&D, Magic, Catan, etc.) to get together. There are other groups in the metro area for people on the spectrum to socialize, but this group will focus on gaming. If you have autism, asperger's or any other related condition, and you are looking to meet other gamers on the spectrum, then this group is for you.
Hello! I am from the southwest where I attended a great field watercolor class in which we'd get together at rotating locations, paint what we saw outside, and do a very kind-spirited group critique. If you are interested in this, I will set up some dates as our weather starts to cooperate and we'll see what we get! No skill level is required, and no cruel critiquing is allowed (my only rule). Watercolor is challenging and you only get better if you feel brave and supported in your endeavors, …
WHY THIS GROUP? I have a mission that all people are free to choose and free to live the style of intimate relationship that inspires them. What would that look like? You tell me... I foresee a world where all people are self-expressed and accepted, empowered to share the styles of loving that excite and inspire them, their relationships a testament to intentionality, communication, and partnership. How will that impact each of us? What will this require? I have my own notions, but I'd really …

Revised: August 30, 2011 A quick summary of our group. Membership is open to Healing Arts Professionals and Students. Membership dues are a one-time fee upon joining of $20.00, for a lifetime membership. Members have 15 days from joining to pay this one-time fee. Current members have a grace period to pay by 15 September 2011. If the fee is unpaid after that date, they will be dropped from membership. No one has paid any fees except for me, and that has to change, as I have paid about $247.00 …

Welcome to Pig Iron Petanque Contact Us: info@PigIronPetanque.Com ( click here to email ) Pig Iron Petanque is shutting down. Our goal was simple, to provide a supportive, egalitarian environment in which people could get together to throw a little Petanque and enjoy comradely competition. Sadly we are in time when most Americans crave the vicarious life of voyeurs, breathlessly following the lives of hideously strangers on "Reality T.V" rather than interacting with neighbors. "Sport"to most …
Looking for like-minded folks with whom to enjoy Portland area concerts. Join us if you like going to concerts! Note: I originally planned to keep this group focused on "big name" concerts as opposed to local performers. However, there is much good music to be had "cheap" or even "free," so I'd love to have some assistant organizers helping folks get together for smaller events like the free Wednesday concerts at The Old Church, low-cost benefit concerts that pop up around town from time to time …

We're at a place in our lives where we want to play hard and have FUNNN. We're about making new acquaintances, some of which may evolve into true friendships. Both singles and those with partners are part of our group Since age is generally a state of mind anyway, if you're heading toward fifty or over, it really doesn't matter. If you have a partner who also wants to participate, each person should become a member since some of our events do not include guests. You'll find our group welc …

… We still feel relatively new to town, and now that we have our first kiddo (our son, born 2/17/11), the only thing I’m missing is the close knit group of friends that I know are out here somewhere-- that's why I'm starting this group. Don't we all dream of having a close group of friends with kids, so all our kiddos can grow up together?? We live in the SE-- and I love the SE, but I'm very different than the majority of people I've met in this part of town--I'm secretly a little Downtown/Pea …
… Some venues that will feature here include Mississippi Studios, the Doug Fir Lounge, the Aladdin Theater, and plenty more. The Ground Rules: these are obviously public events, and we are not buying tickets for meetup members in advance - you're on your own to get an advance ticket if that seems necessary (covers at the door are usually in the $5 - $15 range). We'll try to set up a place to meet in advance of the show, to have a drink and chat a bit - since that's always a bit hard once the mu …

I'll be honest....I have no friends! I just moved to the Portland area for business. I have a great job, an amazing boyfriend...but I miss spending time with girls! I know I can't be the only twenty-something, semi-single career gal new to the area, and thought this might be a fun way to meet some fun girls. The group will be about the reading if you'd like it to be...or we could talk about the book for about 15 minutes and then just drink wine.
We look to Jesus in the sky, but all we have to do is look in the mirror as Jesus called US to be HIS HANDS and FEET in SERVICE until HIS Return Why not meet with pupose-driven people for ministry service projects instead of the on-line dating scene? As singles we'd like to make a difference in our community while having an opportunity to meet others our age We are linked with the Meet Me group who attend the same activities as us so when looking at RSVP #'s check that page too...more are att …

We work to create opportunities for pleasant relationships over nice meals. We don't plan budget dinners, we suggest restaurants we think at least some will enjoy. We each vote with our RSVP's whether a dining out experience fits our schedule, our budget, and how far we desire to travel to dine out. If you'd like to suggest a venue, or help plan a dinner please email Joanne the Organizer. We're planning social events, & are not responsible for how safe, timely or tasty the dinners are. …
Are you in the business of helping people? Whether you are a psychologist, hypnotherapist, or coach... If you are a massage or nutritional therapist... Or maybe a chiropractor, acupuncturist, reflexologist, or any other related profession... If you are in the business of helping people, if that is your calling in life, then you are a kindred spirit. This group serves two purposes. The first is education and networking. The average psychologist probably knows far too little about hypnoth …
After almost 2 years of struggling to find adventurous, energetic & crafty outdoor Moms and Dads with "babbies", I've decided to start a group of my own. Here's the difference between my group and other wonderful options you may find. I'd love to have your company on our outdoor adventures (some that end up being day-trips), but I'm also looking to start & be part of a village. What ever happened to cleaning swaps, baby swaps, cooking swaps, etc? If you are an outdoor enthusiast and you believe …

I will not play at tug o' war. I'd rather play at hug o' war, Where everyone hugs Instead of tugs, Where everyone giggles And rolls on the rug, Where everyone kisses, And everyone grins, And everyone cuddles, And everyone wins. Shel Silverstein I come to the cuddling community from a background in conflict resolution and am on a journey of exploring personal growth through heart connections and affectionate, non-sexual touch. Meetup offers many ways to make connections with like-minded peopl …
We are people 30-ish to 40-ish looking to get out of our homes and have a good time with other like minded folks. We do concerts, a sports functions, mingle at bars for happy hour , pool or listening to local artists, hit the slopes, and spend a day, or weekend, at the coast eating smores and walking on the beach. The only limit to the fun we have is our own imaginations. Come join in the fun. We'd love to have you. Jen
This group is for pug owners in the Stafford, West Linn and Lake Oswego areas (or nearby!). I'd like to meet other pug-parents, and their dogs, for weekly playtime in the Hazelia Field at Luscher Farm dog park. I'm also interested in indoor play areas for pugs.
